Nike 600k
Did you ever imagine running from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro? Nike did. And it had the idea of promoting the Nike 600K challenge: six-hundred kilometers from the Ibirapuera Park until the Ipanema beach. It’s thee days running, 200k per day. The process to choose the 12 athletes of 15 teams which had to run one marathon per day (42km) with team run, and this process took approximately 2 months. In order to promote and register all this trouble, we had the idea on inserting one more team of running-reporters to follow the athletes during the track, registering everything online, in real time during this competition. At the website, user can choose from which camera to watch the athletes: 1 – on the running-reporter’s head; 2 – inside a van, 3 – on a motorcycle. User can also send support messages via Nike’s twitter. Those messages could be printed inside the van and showed to the athletes. Still through the website, users can learn the athletes’ details through widgets that informed: best time, heart beats, calorie loss, step counting, who was the best team of the day, etc…
